- Transplant in large containers to have large flowered plants
- Use good quality soil, possibly specific for Pelargonium
- Start fertilizing after 20 days from the transplant
- Fertilize 3-4 times a month with specific fertilizer for flowering plants
- Bacopa prefers shade or sun only in the morning
- Portulaca and Lantana prefer sunnier exposures
- Verbena and Surfinia are more suitable for shade, in full sun only in large containers
